I read the reviews and people stated that it doesn't drain. The lip on the edges holds the water in place. I drilled some holes into it in the traction material so you can't see them. It still doesn't drain. I wind up flipping it over after a big rain and letting it sit for awhile. The rain doesn't bother me building up in there, but when winter comes you know what happens to all the melted snow or water accumulation at night. So far it has taken several strong kicks and beatings to get the ice off without visible damage. It looks good, it is sturdy, and I kind of knew what I was getting into with it, so knocking off one star only. Got mud on it and it cleaned up well.
