This is my first liquid head monopod so I can't compare to any other. What I can tell you is that I find the liquid head to be smooth and easy to use. Locking mechanisms are reliable. The carrying case that comes with it seems really good, better than expected. Accessories have been hidden in the inner zip pocket. Nice gesture! My only complaint is that the lever to lock the quick release plate is difficult to reach since the locking lever is on the grip. Also, an Allen wrench is used to tighten the plate screw on the camera. I'm sure it's a very safe way, but I know the wrench will be gone soon. I'll probably see if I can find a special handle hex key screwdriver and such to keep in my bag as it will be harder to lose. Overall, I highly recommend these monopods. I definitely want to get a Cayer tripod with a moving head in the near future. And the company seems amazing. They sent me a very nice email asking me to leave this review.
