Mora is known for making quality knives at very affordable prices. These aren't collectibles or even heirlooms, but if you want a knife that does what a knife is supposed to do and does it well, then consider Mora. This special carving knife is a good tool. It was very abrupt; so sharp I even cut myself the first time I used it. I barely caught the tip of my weak index finger in the cutting motion, and that was all it took. Cutting with this knife is a pleasure. It stays sharp for a long time and can be easily re-sharpened if necessary. The grip is a bit rougher than I expected and looks like it's finished with nothing. I can sand it down and eventually BLO. Overall I am very happy with this tool.
