The dress is pretty. Materials are not what I expected; however, looks very pretty. The white part/top is made of a stretchy type fabric, similar to Lycra but not as "exercisey". The blue part is more of a soft cotton blend. It needs to be ironed or steamed after washing. The belt (bow) is awful and the reason I downgraded to 4 stars. One, it is a plastic bow. Two, the belt is a mesh type material. And Three, it's not white. It's an off-white colour and looks AWFUL on. I ended up using a pretty long ribbon and cut to wrap twice and make a bow. Dress would be nice without but I like the bow.
