Johnson level and tool 1435-1000 10 inch Inspectors Magnetic Torpedor Level I bought one from Lowes to complete my collection of three other torpedo levels. The magnets on mine are very strong - it snaps firmly onto a steel pipe or tool - plus it has V-grooves on both sides. The larger vials on this model make reading easier than on the smaller models. Mine reads the same when viewed both ways on a flat surface, as it should. The continuous aluminum frame provides more stability and strength. If the magnet detaches from such a tool, use superglue to reattach it, but press until the glue dries.
