Review on VIOLIN All Flash Arrays by Shawn Price

I like how fast it runs compared other products in its class such as NetApp FAS/AFF systems which are much slower at least from my experience running them through our test lab environment over many years using VMs or physical servers (including some older HP ProLiant hardware). It also has an easy GUI interface so you don't need too have extensive knowledge about linux command line interfaces etc., just click "here" then wait while your stuff gets copied onto tape drives! No way around needing backups but if everything goes wrong we've got good insurance since tapes will still work even after 30+ yrs unlike disks where they fail eventually - no matter what backup software vendor says otherwise :-).
