Honestly I didn't expect too much, but these are a great deal if all you want to do is upgrade from mediocre cable-actuated disc brakes. Doesn't have the modulation or stopping power of the OEM Shimano M-6000 brakes on one of my other bikes, but it's pretty close to the aftermarket M-6000 brakes I've previously used. Only real differences were these cost about a third as much and the levers aren't quite as nice. Also, the rear hydraulic line is about 6 inches too long. Front was fine. No regrets on this purchase.
