Best on hard wax, there is a lot of wood in it.
To be fair Indys will be writing this in coconut. Very angry. A harder wax wood work may suit you. Cropping is also not possible. Finally, the metal holder is actually a sleeve, the wick sits directly on top of the container with no gap, allowing the wick's flame to burn out to the glass/container. I'll find a way to work with them, maybe beeswax
