Let's just say while my husband lives in this house we need one of these next to each toilet. We just bought a new house with nice bathrooms and I just couldn't bring myself to put an ugly plunger next to the toilet. So I bought this to match the bronze oil brush. It looks very nice. It's basically a regular black rubber plunger with a brown plastic base it sits in with a cap that slides up the handle. The base catches drops and protects the floor. The top slides up the handle and locks into place when the plunger is used. I am very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing several more for other bathrooms. It's also nice for the guests. Because if I hide an ugly plunger under the sink and they need it, they have to look or ask. This way they have instant access and therefore no embarrassment.
