My daughter is 2.5 years old and wears 2T, sometimes 3T but her size wasn't in stock so I ordered 4T. I knew there would be more of the dress. When it arrived I simply hand sewed on the shoulder straps (about 1-1.5 inches). It also helped with the front because the sheet might have been too low and exposed her breasts too much. The length was perfect as my daughter is taller than the average two year old. We also bought a petticoat to add fullness to the dress.
