My kids got some of these toys for Christmas and loved them. Of course, they don't last forever, although I highly recommend drying them after bathing to keep the batteries from draining too quickly. My only issue with them is that the turtle wasn't working when we got it. I won't be returning them because my kids were happy to get the ones that work. Make swimming in the dark fun for them. UPDATE: This is dangerous for young children. Two of my toddlers were able to open the battery compartments on some of them, exposing the batteries that could be choked. They should not be marketed as suitable for young children. The other type that we received as a gift before was sealed making it impossible to open them. Not this one.
