I first bought one of these when I was in grad school so I could leave everything for my home office, set it up and go to work or could grab a single USB drive while launching two additional screens. It works with my personal Windows 10 laptop, my work MacBook Pro, and the Win 10 gaming laptops we've been given for our alumni. Had to download drivers for macbook but in the end it downloads everything for win 10 just by staying plugged in. My wife has also started working from home several days a week due to the CORVID-19 pandemic (and requests my Win10 as well). with a large built in screen) while I was working full time from home I got a second one so that even just one cable could be plugged in and I have reserved space with a second monitor for one of the kids to use when my wife wasn't home and the original is still installed where I usually work to help the Macbook have enough extra screen real estate and ports for peripherals (like a full-size keyboard that's also PC compatible) for easier use receive.
