Having handed over the JBL Bbar 3.1 for repair, I began to look for something more budgetary, about 20,000. Again, after monitoring the market, there are different options for Sony, Samsung, LG, etc., there are also options for Yamaha and half-caudio, but without a subwoofer, so I refused them. After reading somewhere on the Internet about the Denon DHT-S316, I also thought about this option. There are practically no reviews, the model is new, and mentally I was not ready for low power after JBL Bar 3.1. But time passed and it was necessary to choose something, realizing that Denon simply cannot make uninteresting acoustics, ordered at your own peril and risk. Upon arrival, when I saw a small box, I realized that these were most likely "toy" speakers ;( Having disassembled the box, the sound bar and sub turned out to be very easy. Miracles do not happen . but how pleasantly surprised I was when this small system began to play ! Again comparing with JBL . Denon has fewer speakers in the soundbar, but it sounds more interesting, like a more adult model, the JBL Bar 3.1 has a dry soundbar, the mids are littered towards the top and therefore there is a huge gap between a powerful subwoofer and the soundbar Denon's sub is not as powerful and gives the bass not a powerful tremor all over the body, but more sonorous bass, thereby complementing the mids in the lower range to the soundbar. and volume effects. The appearance is excellent, all the necessary settings are available. And in comparison with the JBL Bar 3.1, it has 3 channels in the soundbar!right and left channels are responsible for the effects in the Dolby DJ mode ital, and the central one for speech, and Denon has only 2 channels, and therefore it was a little embarrassing how he would cope with the voice acting of speech and effects at the same time, but he coped with this task perfectly and no significant differences were noticed. Comparing its size and how it plays - you will never regret buying it! Moreover, at the moment it cost me 14,800 for a super promotion !, there are certainly no competitors in this price segment !
