Yes they are small but powerful

This is great quality for the price. Small but I knew they were very easy to refill so I don't mind keeping peppercorns and fine salt in other containers on my spice rack. I was surprised to find that the material is a soft, rubberized material rather than a matte plastic, which is definitely a lot more comfortable if you have wet hands while cooking. The degree of grinding can be regulated and the ceramic is very good, after a few months it has to be replaced to speak of durability.
