I waited two weeks after installing the filtration system to check its rating. My fiancee is VERY happy with the water which makes me happy. As a result, I got 56 PVC joints without a single sealant. The last step was to connect it to the house water supply and flush the filters as recommended. I rinsed the hot water tank thoroughly and filled it with filtered water. Now there is no color or smell.
