When you insert cartridges into the HP Officejet Pro 8620, push them into place and they should pop out a fraction of an inch. One of the rounds didn't recoil, but a slight tug was enough to set the round into position. The brochure does not say what to do about it. I ran to the store to get a genuine HP cartridge and after thoroughly cleaning the print head with 91% isopropyl alcohol everything was fine for a while then streaks of a different color started to appear so I replaced those all ink by real ink.
