If the detangling nylon pins were slightly more firm, this would be the PERFECT brush. But because they are a soft, the brush does not reach the underlayers of my hair very well. Feels superficial when I brush my hair when wet (dry is ok)- only top layer is combed well. The boar bristles are genuine, I tested them. I wonder if it would be better if the length of the nylon pins were closer to the length of the boar bristles. The overall product seems good quality but would be best for someone with very fine hair. For reference, I have long straight hair that is thin/medium in thickness but dense in number.
