Excellent full sound at low volume, but also very good. I was looking for FM quality and reception, not volume for office use, and that's more than enough in that regard. When I'm working late and alone, this is cool and provides enough ringtones for the whole office if needed. Using one of my many Lightning adapters to play and charge my iPhone 5 made the sound even better, but I also use FM a lot. It has good reception values and I will rate it slightly above average for that. It actually came with a remote control but it doesn't work and it seems to have a history that would have made it much easier to use, especially given its daily use. That's not a deal killer, it's a compromise you should be prepared for when purchasing. You almost have to upgrade to a very expensive model or boombox to get similar features and specs IMO, and a built-in iPhone dock that charges is priceless. While researching this topic, I discovered Revain Warehouse's offerings, which are a goldmine in their own right.
