Review on Effortless Toasting: Oster 2-Slice Touchscreen Toaster with Easy Touch Technology and Digital Countdown Timer, Stainless Steel by Detra Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good toaster but some LEDs are too dark.

I already have a fairly new toaster that works much the same as this Easter, with one exception. It has a real countdown timer in minutes and seconds with a dial. The problem is that you have to keep track of the timer by turning the dial to what you know is right for you. I pay attention to what I've used before, but my wife doesn't and usually gets very upset when her toast goes dark (my preference) because she just puts the bread in and starts. I wasn't sure about the touch controls for the dark. instead of knowing "how long" it will actually take. The indicator bar shows how far the toast has progressed, so you can stop it early if you need to find the right time. I quickly figured out what number I needed and I was able to choose another number halfway through and go a bit darker. My wife loved the opportunity to just pick a room and be done with it. You can also remove the toast or lift it halfway to see if you like it. Nothing new as my old toaster does the same thing. The slots on the toaster are a bit wider than my current one, meaning the bagels fit in much easier. Checks for bagels, frozen or reheated. This is because you can hardly see them unless you get really close. It's in a well-lit room. I tried making the room darker but there was no difference. The LEDs are just too weak.

  • Looking forward to
Cons
