These glass nail files are advertised as etched but are NOT. They are glued to the glass surface. This will smooth out the graininess VERY FAST. These nail files are NOT the LAST. As a pianist, I need a file that I can use at least a few times a week. These nail files only last a week or two before a few slick spots appear, rendering the file unusable. This is the second time I have tried to buy etched glass nail files and have been sold sand nail files instead. That's almost enough to send me back to metal even if it doesn't suit your nails! Where can I find good glass nail files? I guess not to sell in a few. This should have been my hint that this is not what they advertise.
