I have a French bulldog that I adopted while living in Norway so we were NOT ready for a hot summer in Washington DC. After a shady walk on a Sunday morning when the temp was around 78 she was REALLY hot and panting so much I was a little concerned so I decided to try one of these vests thinking it was probably a marketing gimmick. But it changed her temperature greatly both during and after the walk. She comes home without her, lies on the floor for a long time and breathes heavily, but since we've been using her, she's been able to return to a cool pace much more easily. She will still get warm on walks and will breathe heavily, but that doesn't matter. Very happy with this purchase!
