I am a quilter and must have over a dozen mats of various sizes. I have an Alvin rug (warped within 2 months for no good reason), a Dahle rug, a Fiskar rug, a June Taylor rug (big mistake), an expensive Martelli rug and the rest is owned by Olfa. I now have a Caliber Art 18x24 mat. The Caliber rug appears to be of good quality and the stitch lines are accurate. I would compare it to the much more expensive Martelli. They appear to be the same thickness and quality. Both claim to be warp resistant and after using both they heal much better than the Olfa mat which I consider throw away after years of regular cutting. I love this rug so much I will be buying a large 24"x36" rug from Caliber Art instead of the Martelli I reviewed previously. I want it to be 24" x 38" or 26" x 38" so that a full yard of fabric can be cut or flattened on the rug. Wish 2 for a 30"x60" rug.
