. No more need to use a drip pan and then spill oil trying to pour it into an old gallon jug. So I used it for the first time tonight. I changed the oil hot (is there another way) so I put the drain plug in the reservoir, finished draining the engine, pulled out the drain reservoir and wiped clean. The drain plug was right in one of the holes from which the oil flows into the reservoir. Fantastic, much better than the old way of fishing in hot oil. I sealed the drain pan. Close the vent (no problem, like some reviewers did) and set the canister upright on its side. This is where it went wrong. While collecting I noticed the oil under the container but thought I hadn't wiped it enough. So I wiped the bottom and installed on the side. After cleaning up a small oil stain, I lifted the container and there was oil underneath again. In short, there was a small hole next to one of the legs. The plastic here is sooo flimsy, I'm surprised the legs didn't fall into the bin. Well I guess you get what you pay for. I will not exchange and do not recommend.
