Bought and returned - quality well below acceptable standard
Bought this item to replace a 2010 Mini Cooper (R56). The quality is too low and I ended up going to the dealer to buy an OEM for like $50 or so. I have been able to match this item to a new OEM and the quality varies wildly from one end of the spectrum to the other. The most noticeable difference between this and the original item is the spring force (this one has a very weak spring) and the plastic case itself appears to be much stronger and stiffer on the OEM. It might save you a few bucks, but honestly the quality is too low to be an effective replacement.
