Review on Kingston DataTraveler SE9 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive for Reliable Data Storage (DTSE9H/32GBZ) by Amar Amar ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are several shortcomings, but, it corresponds to the norm.

The flash drive is very mediocre, and it loses the comparison with old Kingston products. The speed is especially annoying. But 16 GB for the money is a definite plus, and quite reliable. I won’t say that I have a lot of experience, but, judging by my observations, the most reliable and trouble-free flash drives are 1-2 GB (one such has been living since 2022), and trash already starts with 8 GB. Well, or you need to take more, but for myself I don’t see the point.

Pros
  • + 16 GB + Works for quite a long time (I don’t remember exactly, maybe three years) + Good looks but nothing special
Cons
  • - Very slow speed. I thought that this was due to the lack of a USB 3 port on the old PC, but I assembled a new one, but the problem remained. - A tight cap, in the end I came to the conclusion that it is optimal not to close it at all - heated - Sometimes not defined
