Review on Rugged Ridge 11546.60 Spartacus Heavy Duty Tire Carrier 🔧 Kit for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ: Durable and Reliable Solution by Robert Hayes

The Rugged Ridge Spartacus hinge system is very strong, well made and holds my 33 x 12.5 x 15 perfectly, but still rattles a bit. I thought it might be hardware, but after switching to heavier bolts, the tailgate still rattles off the spare tire. Overall I'm happy with the Spartacus hinges, but for the steep price I wouldn't expect the boot lid to not rattle at all. The smoothness of the tailgate movement is amazing. I could probably open it with one finger and it holds the tailgate open much better than the factory hinges.
