I spent weeks looking for the perfect speaker for my needs with FM radio. I looked at JBL, Harmon Karden, Altec etc. I wanted a brand. Thank god I found the monster. The rest was insanely overpriced and not worth it. I've read reports of poor FM reception with this speaker. I saw the $99 price and decided to trust the monster. I ordered on a Saturday in January, chose free shipping (5 days) and it arrived the NEXT DAY! Aha! I unpacked it, turned it on and pressed the source button on the FM radio while in the basement and it came out with LOUD CLEAR reception on all channels. I was streaming music and the volume was 30 watts, but I lacked the fullness of a Bose ST, for example. Bose is loud and rich. But for what it is, it's great. It has a USB charger to charge my phone. With mixed use, it took 2 weeks after the first charge before another charge was needed. I used the radio 90% of the time. With all these features, I'm so glad I bought the Monster. For my needs, Nomad is just right for me. A NOTICE. I spent about 30 minutes in light rain and everything was fine. I love this speaker. Thank you Revane and thank you Monster.
