The description says "Kit does not work with TI-82, TI-85 and TI-86". This is not entirely true. Official Texas Instruments software will not work with this cable and Ti-85. But TiLP can work with any combination of cable and computer. I found my old Ti85 in a box with a dead AAA and button cell battery. I wanted to remember my old games and show my kids how much fun I had in the 90's. With this cable I was able to restore the shell and my old games.
