I can't knock over dodge stars, I need an isolated circuit. They connect to existing headlights, but this is the easiest part. You need to make a "hole" in the car yourself to ground it and route the power cable to the battery. The downside to this is that there is so much moving crap and hot stuff on the way to the battery. They give you some zip ties to hold the wire on the way up that aren't close enough to ensure it stays in a safe place. The power cable has some flaws in terms of durability, but the tail light connector cable is as flimsy as it gets and is probably the first point of failure. Paper instructions suck, but there are of course very good videos on You Tube, which are obviously the quickest way to do the most tedious part of wiring to the battery. My trailer has LED lights so I probably should have just added some spice and saved $60 and an hour of my time.
