So at first I thought it was cheap and would burn out before I could use it. Well, it still goes strong. It charges 5 Samsung S10 and Samsung 12.1 tablets in time. Just as fast as charging standard chords. This comes with several decent length C and B types to connect your devices to the dock. I also charge my Samsung Note+ (Star Wars) here. It loads just as fast. The plug is a standard AC plug, not USB, which is pretty clever, to be honest. Plastic baffles, maybe acrylic, not sure. They are fairly durable and glow/glow blue (blue light shines through from below) while charging and turn off when the device is charging. There is a switch to disable this feature. No "on" and "off" switch. When a device is plugged in, it is "on". I purchased additional cables as no Type-C cables came with this device, which I use for my family and everyone our devices required.
