I love you! The perfect home phone. I just got a new phone number so of course I'm getting random calls. I LOVE the lock feature, no more random calls! People complained that the phone doesn't show a new message, but the base does. And to be honest this is a very nice phone. The connection quality is perfect. And I love that he gives me the number when I call. It says "Call from Mom" when the number is programmed, which is very easy to do yourself. If it's not programmed, it says "Call 555-5555." To be honest, I can't remember if it includes an area code. I think so. I've had different brands in the past and you can't go wrong with Panasonic! I have always felt that they give you the best bang for your buck. For example, there are many different ringtones to choose from for each phone. You can also set the ringer volume on each handset individually. So you can put it in the place where it will be in the house. Very happy!
