Pretty decent tent bed, similar to the one I had in the 80's. It's better, there are features that make it better than the tent I grew up in.1. There is no bottom. The model I had back in the 80's completely covered the mattress, I had to sleep in a vinyl cover which became very uncomfortable. It's better designed, your designer linens go through the tent.2. Better ventilation too. I remember vents in an 80's model I had, but they weren't as vented. This design has 2 extra large vents that you as a parent can easily peek into.3. The front entrance uses Velcro. Why zippers were used in these tents in the 80's I don't understand. That was something that failed in my tent when I was a kid and we ended up throwing the tent away. This model uses Velcro which is great not only for durability but also for safety. Another cool factor is that they have drawings on them, and I had solid colors in the 80's. will do his job.
