I decided to buy this product after reading several positive online reviews. After two months of use, the DVR ceased responding to commands from the remote. When I took it in for service, they gave me a new one. The same thing happened again after another two months of use. The controller is invisible to the system. As moisture had entered the remote control, the service was not willing to replace it this time. Thus, 1) money was squandered. 2) If a product arrives at xiaomi damaged, do not attempt to have it repaired; instead, return it in its whole.
