Great for trimming threads when using an embroidery machine! Of course, they are great for trimming when tying flies!

Not my first Dr. slick scissors I understand that these scissors are designed for crochet fishermen. However, I use them as a thread sniper on my embroidery machine and they are perfect! With a curved one, it is very easy to get into the embroidery hoop and cut the threads. These scissors are very sharp with small tips perfect for trimming thread. Oh, and by the way, they're great for trimming when tying flies!
