I bought this thinking it would likely fit more like a long shirt in length= mid thigh (for me is what I like in a "long shirt") to wear with leggings and tall boots, I find things to appear long and then when you get them they are much shorter than pictured. I am 5'9, so what is long to the majority is mid length to short on me. The color was fairly accurate, but it was actually quite long. Definitely closer to a dress; much like what is pictured; it is also longer on the left side than the right side and not so much in the center as the photo appears . Though it may end up not working for the purpose I bought it for, which was to go under a long cardigan, accompanied with leggings or jeans, it will still be really cute as a dress exactly as pictured. The fabric is very nice; it has a really soft feel with a "bounce" to it, the texture feels like a thin, broken in, comfortable cotton T with some spandex in it so it's flowy, doesn't stick to things and feels great on your skin. If you were wanting a mid length dress to wear; which can easily be dressed up or down this is a great, inexpensive option to have that is really versatile.
