We bought these because the price is incredible considering kids lose their gloves multiple times a day! These are our school gloves, so it's okay if they lose a pair or all of them. They're not warm or insulating like snow gloves, but they keep fingers warmer than without. We also like grippy dots. They definitely help hold onto playground climbing structures or kids trying to master their fine motor skills. A note: despite what we read in the reviews, the gloves that came to us are very stretchy. They fit both our 3 year old (with a bit more room at the fingertips) and our 9 year old. I wear women's gloves small (sometimes medium) and they fit me too! So I would say that in general they are suitable for girls from 3 to 12 years old.
