Works great for peace of mind!
I unfortunately own a Samsung fridge that is known to have temperature issues (and haven't had ice since it was 6 months old, but I digress). This thermometer gives me peace of mind that my family is not at risk of food poisoning. The min/max is very helpful as well so I know if it has dipped above the 'safe' zone at all.
