I needed something comfortable and durable to wear around the house. The few brands of slippers I tried weren't very big, and the soles wore out so quickly that they became dangerous on stairs. However, this shoe is very good. They feel like I'm wearing sneakers. They provide good arch support, are comfortable and have non-slip rubber soles. They don't look very stylish, but it doesn't matter how I wear them indoors. They are good both with and without socks - even more comfortable without socks for some reason. The downside is that they're made in China, where labor practices are often inhumane or worse, coercive. Unfortunately, it becomes almost impossible to find anything from the US or EU.
