I bought two of these skylight decorations - they are battery operated and have a programmable timer so are perfect for those hard to reach spots. They were a little dark when seen from the street, but it was an understandable compromise for a small object. After a few weeks of use (late November to early January) at the end of the season I took out the batteries and put them away for storage. This Christmas one block works and the other doesn't. What a waste - a waste of my money and a literal waste with cords, lightbulbs and all going to landfill after such a short lifespan.
