What did I pay for? This product is a failure.
You need to do something with the software, because in this form it is no good. With my smartphone, you can only shoot in the application of the smartphone itself. The ZY Play program, which relies on this steadicam, does not work at all, or stops working right on the go. For example, you press the "Record" button, but the recording does not start, or the volume of the call starts to increase, or it is completely ignored. Or it crashes altogether. The native ZY Play program is ugly translated into 2022, see screenshot. There are 3 points "Slow motion" at once, in fact it is not. I uploaded the latest firmware 1.97 - nothing has changed in terms of compatibility. - Mechanically very nicely executed, well held in the hand, standard USB-C connector for charging a standard battery type 21700. The battery capacity (4500) corresponds to the declared one. Removable carriage for fixing the smartphone. The small size makes it easy to carry in a jacket pocket. Lots of aluminum in the construction. Easy to ate firmware from PC. The handle has a standard 1/4 tripod thread.
- Steadicam's native program is not compatible with my smartphones. Compatibility information is missing from the product page. The native software of ZY Play is terrible. On a compatible (listed) smartphone, the LG G5 does not switch to the wide-angle camera. To charge your smartphone from the stabilizer, you need a non-standard microUSB(F) - USB-C(F) cable. How to do the calibration - has not figured it out yet, not for average minds.
