I was looking for something similar. something I could protect things like old theater stumps or paper price cards etc that works fine but I have a few complaints about it. these are two settings. You need to clamp what you want to "laminate" between two sticky sheets. and better hope you have a good eye because if something sticks, it sticks. So that can be tricky when you're working with something you can't lose or damage or something. You must be very careful when placing. There is also a tendency for air bubbles to form between the sheets at the edges of what you are "laminating". In contrast to machine work, it is sufficient to press. Making a "perfect" seal by hand is difficult. You could try using something like a plastic credit card and running it around the edges to seal it tighter, but even then it's not perfect. But hey, if you don't have the space, money, or need for a traditional laminator, this is your next best choice. hence the four stars.
