Review on TeckNet Portable Wireless Receiver Adjustment by Chris Reddick

TeckNet is a name I've never heard of and haven't had good wireless mouse experiences with before, but I took a chance on this product and ended up being the best . the best PC hardware deals I've come across in a while. For under $10 I wasn't expecting much from this purchase. I could go either way with a wireless or wired product. It just seemed such a low price that I figured I had nothing to lose. It was actually cheaper than most wired models I looked at. My first impression of the product was that it was attractive and easy to use. It looked a little smaller than I thought in the photos, but it still feels good in the hand. However, the most impressive aspect of the device was actually during installation. I thought this mouse would be a little different from others I've tried in the past. Plug it in, then wait for Windows to look for drivers and set up a crappy software interface. Much to my surprise, I plugged in the wireless USB transmitter, pressed the button and it JUST WORKED. Ready to use right out of the box, no setup, no driver issues, no compatibility issues, it just started working. After a few days of use I'm still impressed. It's actually more powerful than my previous USB mouse and tracks easily on a variety of surfaces. You don't really need a mouse pad. It works almost everywhere I've tried it. Unlike previous models I've tried that use infrared, you don't even need line of sight. I haven't really tested it for range, but it hasn't disappointed me yet when used in normal conditions. It's truly a plug and play device that requires no setup and doesn't even require you to look at the instructions. Literally the hardest part about getting this mouse to work is making sure the battery is installed correctly. Other than that, it's a pleasure to use. Finally an affordable product that actually exceeded my expectations.
