Then I did a test drive and I really liked the sound, there was a bit of hum.

I installed it on my Miata 1.8 2003. First I welded the intake, not the exhaust, to the exhaust pipe, then I took it for a test drive and I really liked the sound, it was a little hum but very smooth. After a test drive I welded the exhaust, it became quieter and now there is no hum. It's louder than stock, and if I listen closely I can hear the exhaust popping when the top is down. I wanted the sound to be deep with no buzz and really hear my exhaust. This silencer did all these things, can't wait to hear it now that it's hacked.
