My power window has failed on my 1999 CRV left front window. After disassembling everything, I found that you cannot replace the engine with a non-original one. Only 2 of the 3 screw holes match and the motor teeth do not. So I just used the whole block. yes it works Does everything work, no. The power plug on the motor was taped to the motor so it was too short to reach the opposite plug. Modifications were therefore required to achieve this. Also, minimizing the window with one touch now works longer. The connector only goes one way, so no problem. If I knew these things I would resign and pay for an OEM that works correctly without modifications.
