Not quiet enough to comfort my son and comb set too short.

Not quiet enough to hold my son. Down Syndrome is quiet, but maybe it would work better if I tuned in to a TV show he likes first. However, it was much quieter than a standard clipper. The comb is barely long enough for a short summer haircut, so I don't think it's suitable for a winter haircut. It was the shortest haircut he had ever done and I used the longest comb. Hopefully there are longer ridges, but I haven't had a chance to check.
