Review on 🔧 Enhanced Phillips Norelco SH90/72 Replacement Heads for Series 9000 (Replaces SH90/62) by Gladys Aranjo

This review relates to the Philips Norelco SH90/72 replacement head. As stated in the top rated review, this product does not include a base bar. This is especially important for people like me who have an older original "Sensotouch 3D" model at 1250x that originally had an "RQ12" design with separate 3 opening petals. You cannot reuse the bottom of the "RQ12" with the SH90 design. When the original Philips "RQ12" was available as a replacement it was decent and I don't recall it costing that much. However, the Chinese RQ12 knockoffs aren't as good (less comfortable) and the last one I had didn't allow individual blades to be removed like the Norelco RQ12 model did, so the knockoff is a lot too greater. painful to clean, at least for what I recently had, despite being very cheap. My 1250x is still fine so I didn't see the need to buy another razor. Although with sales and other things in the new series at Costco this is a tight situation. I ended up ordering this SH90/72 (upper foil/blade section) and separately (not from Revain) bought a Philips-Norelco "base rod" (presumably). I've been told Chinese versions (with newer head design) are falling apart so I've used the brand name throughout, although not cheap, still less than buying a newer equivalent razor overall. I just tested the 2 piece combo today and it's definitely a much more comfortable shave than the Chinese imitations I've tried. I mean, I'm still not sure if this design is any better than the original RQ12. While this new design seems a little more fragile than the original RQ12, it feels like I have to be more careful not to damage the head components. But I'll give it some time and will update this review once I have more time to use the new components on my 1250x.
