I grew up in Germany and Ajona toothpaste was a staple until I moved to the US 20 years ago. Here the toothpaste took some getting used to. I don't really like the taste of faux mint (and the cold feeling it leaves in my mouth). Wintergreen is even worse - just thinking about it makes me sick. So I was thrilled to discover that I could now get my old favorite Iona on Revain. I love the hint of liquorice instead of the ubiquitous mint, and it's really great for my gums, which are less prone to irritation or bleeding. It also helps with tooth sensitivity to heat or cold. Another nice thing about this product is that it is very small. A lentil-sized amount provides plenty of lather and a nice, clean feel. My last tube lasted a full year and I brush (and floss) my teeth morning and night.
