I take my little guy, Hollywood, most everywhere with me. Most dog carriers are bulky, and in warmer weather, stiffling. I bought this to see if it was strong enough to hold my 10lb dog, and it is. I measured and cut a horizontal and vertical slit (diamond shaped), placed a small pillow on the bottom and he sits in there perfectly, with the hole large enough for him to rearrange himself and/or stand without being so large that he'd fall out. I reinforced where I cut with sewing trim (used e6000 for strength). Now he's happy with all the attention and fresh air he recieves! :)
