The product itself is excellent. This little Yorkie we have cannot push or move this gate to get into the toilet. Also, the door is good, we don't have to step over the gate anymore, which helps. The only downside, which may or may not make a huge difference, is that the door switch is reversed to open it, and I have a feeling it won't last long. Until I update it, or if I ever do, don't let that put you off buying this gate as overall it's fantastic. Update: sorry but they fell apart after 3 months of use. I thought it was well done, but at the time I didn't know it was a lie. At the same time I bought $30 at Wal-Mart and it's still holding up. However, this one did not survive and was not the last. The sad thing is that Wal-Mart's is used three times as often and still works perfectly.
