I carried a few logs with me for about 30 years and finally decided to convert the fireplace from wood ridges to gas logs in our present hope and I needed thread sealant. This tape seems to have nailed it, and for about $4 I got a lot more than I'll ever need. I have very little room to move around and a running gas line isn't that difficult to install, but removing it to get to a leaky joint is a hassle, so I used lots of wraps on each thread to stop make sure i did it. I don't have to crawl there to do it again. It's a lot easier to work with than the goop and brush I've used before which are pretty hard in the container. So if I need more tape in the years to come, this can still be used.
